The head has been skillfully carved by one of the Roman sculpture masters, with head slightly turned to left, distinctive strong features, curly beard and a fine moustache, his hair in thick luscious corkscrew curls brushed backwards in short pointed locks with two distinct locks in the center of the forehead and the nape of his neck. Arching brow above wide eyes with defined upper and lower lids, incised irises and drilled pupils, his fleshly lips above a strong chin.
This well-preserved piece of ancient art will surely make a wonderful addition to the finest antiquities collection as well as a major display to any room of any house!
